We're excited to announce that we're taking part in Shitbox Rally 2027 – Autumn!

Driving a 3,500km stretch of the outback in a car barely holding together is about as true-blue Aussie as it gets. We are proud to be hitting the road from Port Augusta to Townsville for the Autumn Shitbox Rally. For our family, the fight against cancer is deeply personal. Our immediate and extended families have been rocked by breast, lung, prostate, brain, and bowel cancer. By joining the Shitbox Rally, we’re embarking on this journey to forge incredible friendships, push our questionable vehicle to its limits, and to raise vital money for a cause that touches everyone. Any support helps us reach our goal!

Every team taking part is required to raise a minimum of $5,000, with 100% of donations going directly to Cancer Council to help fund life-saving cancer research and support services. That's why we're committed to doing everything we can to reach—and hopefully exceed—our fundraising goal.

Whether you can donate a little or a lot, every contribution makes a genuine difference. Your support will help fund vital cancer research and bring hope to those affected by cancer.

Thank you for being part of the journey and helping us make every kilometer count!

PORT AUGUSTA TOWNSVILLE 3,400 km in a $1,500 car FAKE IT TILL YOU BRAKE IT

Fake it till you brake it are driving a $1,500 car from Port Augusta to Townsville to raise money for Cancer Council

They're doing what!?

Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.

Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.

The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.

And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.

This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
