ONE LITTLE CAR. ONE BIG MISSION!
We’re Craig and Rachel, proudly representing Team Fully Airconditioned in the 2027 Shitbox Rally, travelling from Port Augusta to Townsville across some of Australia’s toughest roads. Our car is worth less than $1,500, and we’re hoping it survives the journey! But we’re taking on this challenge for something far more important than getting to the finish line. We’re doing it for everyone whose life has been touched by cancer. For the people fighting this terrible disease, the families standing beside them, and the loved ones we’ve lost and wish we could hug just one more time. Cancer can affect any family, at any time. Research brings hope, better treatments and the possibility of more birthdays, more family memories and more precious time together. Our fundraising target is $5,000, but we’re hoping to smash that goal and raise as much as we possibly can, just as we’ve aimed to do in previous years. Every dollar counts. Whether it’s $5, $20 or $100, your donation helps our fundraising efforts. One day, the research supported by fundraising like ours could help someone you love. We’ll tackle the dust, corrugations and breakdowns, knowing we’re doing it for a cause far greater than ourselves. Please dig deep and donate whatever you can. If you can’t donate, sharing our page would mean the world to us.From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us make every kilometre count.
Much love,
Craig & Rachel
Team Fully Airconditioned | Shitbox Rally 2027
Fully Airconditioned are driving a $1,500 car from Port Augusta to Townsville to raise money for Cancer Council
They're doing what!?
Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.
Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.
The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.
And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.
This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
Donate NowEvery rally. Every dollar.
Directly to Cancer Council.
Box Rallies is the largest funder of cancer research in Australia — outside of the government. Every dollar supports Cancer Council.
