☕ Hear Ye! Hear Ye! An Invitation from the Mad Catters! ☕
🎩Good gentles, fair ladies, and curious wanderers of Wonderland, Pray lend us thine ears! The Mad Catters are most honoured to take their place in the grand Shitbox Rally 2027 – Autumn.
Aboard our most peculiar colour changing glow in the dark carriage—valued at no more than fifteen hundred sovereigns—we shall embark upon a splendid seven-day expedition, travelling from Port Augusta unto Townsville.
Though our trusty steed of steel may creak, rattle, and grumble most enthusiastically, our spirits shall remain as merry as the Hatter himself at teatime.Yet this curious journey is not undertaken merely for mirth, merriment, and magnificent madness. Nay! It is a noble quest in aid of a cause most worthy—the battle against that dreadful villain known as cancer.
By decree of the Rally, every valiant company must raise no fewer than five thousand dollars, and every single coin bestowed is delivered directly unto the Cancer Council, where it helps support life-changing cancer research and offers hope to countless families. Thus, with teacups held high and hats most delightfully askew, we humbly beseech thy kindness.
Whether thy gift be as grand as the Queen's banquet or as modest as the Dormouse's biscuit, every contribution brings us one step closer to our worthy goal and shines a brighter light for those whose lives have been touched by cancer.
So come, dear friends! Join us for tea, laughter, and a touch of splendid nonsense, and together let us prove that even the maddest of adventures can change the world.
The Mad Catters bid thee heartfelt thanks, and wish thee well! 😺 🐾.
Mad catters are driving a $1,500 car from Port Augusta to Townsville to raise money for Cancer Council
They're doing what!?
Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.
Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.
The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.
And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.
This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
Donate NowEvery rally. Every dollar.
Directly to Cancer Council.
Box Rallies is the largest funder of cancer research in Australia — outside of the government. Every dollar supports Cancer Council.
