We're excited to announce that we're taking part in the Shitbox Rally in April 2027! We are the Rylston Cowboys – neighbours and mates who have shared plenty of great times, challenges, and memories together over the past 18 years. In April 2027, we'll be jumping into our trusty two-wheel-drive Shitbox and tackling an unforgettable seven-day outback adventure from Port Augusta to Townsville via the iconic Oodnadatta Track. While the rally promises plenty of laughs, dust, and adventure, we're taking part for a much more important reason – to help make a real difference in the fight against cancer. Every team is required to raise at least $5,000, with 100% of funds raised going directly to the Cancer Council to support vital cancer research and cancer prevention programs. That's why we're doing everything we can to reach – and hopefully exceed – our fundraising goal. Any support you can provide, whether through a donation, sponsorship, goods, services, or simply helping spread the word, will be genuinely appreciated. Every contribution, big or small, helps bring us one step closer to a future free from cancer. Thank you for supporting our journey.

They're doing what!?
Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.
Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.
The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.
And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.
This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
