After one failed attempt... we've finally been accepted!
We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Team Princess & the Frog will be taking part in Shitbox Rally 2027 – Autumn, driving from Port Augusta to Townsville in a car worth $1,500 or less.
On the surface, it might look like a week of laughs, crazy costumes, questionable cars and unforgettable adventures (and trust us, there'll be plenty of those!). But behind every kilometre is a cause that means the world to us.
Like so many Australians, both of us have lost people we love to cancer. We've also watched friends and family continue to fight this heartbreaking disease. Those experiences are something we'll carry with us every step of this journey.
One of the things we're most looking forward to is meeting like-minded people from all over Australia—people who are taking on this incredible adventure for reasons just like ours. We'll hear stories of loss, hope, survival and strength, and we're honoured to be part of a community determined to make a difference.
Every team is required to raise a minimum of $5,000, but we've set ourselves a much bigger goal...

Every single dollar raised goes directly to Cancer Council to help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and support services for Australians affected by cancer.
Not one cent comes to us.
Cancer affects nearly every Australian family in some way, and it's estimated that around one in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85. That's a statistic we'd all love to change.
So we're asking for your help.
Whether it's $5, $20, $50 or $500, every donation brings us one step closer to our goal and one step closer to better outcomes for families facing cancer.
If you own a business—or know someone who does—we'd absolutely love to hear from you. We're currently looking for sponsors to join us on this adventure. The Princess & The Frog are driving a $1,500 car from Port Augusta to Townsville to raise money for Cancer Council
They're doing what!?
Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.
Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.
The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.
And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.
This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
