Henry and Simon are thrilled to announce that we're taking part in the Shitbox Rally 2027 Autumn going on a 3400km unforgettable 7-day adventure from Port Augusta to Townsville! While the drive itself will be an incredible experience, the real reason we're doing it is to make a meaningful difference in the fight against cancer.

Shitbox Rally is not a race, rather a challenge to achieve the unthinkable to drive cars worth just $1500 or less across Australia via some formidable roads to make a difference and fund vital research, prevention programs, and support services.

I was fortunate enough to complete the Shitbox Rally back in 2018. At the time, I hadn't been personally affected by cancer, so while I was proud to support the cause, I couldn't fully understand the devastating impact it has on so many families.

Sadly, that has since changed. After losing my mum to cancer, this rally has taken on a much deeper meaning.

We will be taking on this challenge in her memory and everyone affected by cancer to help raise funds that will support life-saving cancer research and provide hope to families facing this cruel disease.

Every participating team is required to raise a minimum of $5,000, and every dollar raised goes directly to the Cancer Council to fund vital research, prevention programs, and support services.

That's why we're determined to raise as much as we possibly can.Whether you can make a donation, share our page with family and friends, or simply cheer us on along the way, your support means more than you know. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, helps us get closer to making a real difference.

Thank you for helping us honour Mum's memory and supporting the fight against cancer.

PORT AUGUSTA TOWNSVILLE 3,400 km in a $1,500 car THE RACING ROBIN

The Racing Robin are driving a $1,500 car from Port Augusta to Townsville to raise money for Cancer Council

They're doing what!?

Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.

Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.

The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.

And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.

This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
