We’re proud to announce that we’ll be taking part in the Shitbox Rally 2027 Autumn driving from Port Augusta to Townsville in a car worth no more than $1,500.There will no doubt be plenty of dust, questionable mechanical decisions roadside repairs and laughs along the way but the real reason we are doing this is much bigger than the rally itself.
Cancer has affected far too many of us personally or through a friend, parent, sibling, partner or child. Almost every family has been touched by it in some way and seeing more children and young families face this horrible disease makes the need to support cancer research and services even more important.
We are doing this for those we have lost, those currently fighting, those who have survived and the families and friends supporting them every step of the way.
All funds raised will go to Cancer Council to support vital research and services for people affected by cancer. So while we may be travelling across Australia in a barely roadworthy car and probably making a few poor decisions along the way, we hope to turn every breakdown, laugh and kilometre into something genuinely meaningful.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference. We would be incredibly grateful for your support as we take on this challenge and make every kilometre count in the fight against cancer.

They're doing what!?
Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.
Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.
The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.
And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.
This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
